Home vom Jägerherzen

After discovering the Deutsch Langhaar (DL) breed a few years earlier, I made a home for my first DL in March of 2004. Less than two years later I was adding another DL into my home and heart having emersed myself into the world of conservation hunting and versatile dogs.

Vom Jägerherzen translated from German means "from the hunter's heart" and reflects my vision for living an abundant life filled with gratitude, joy, and passion. All vom Jägerherzen DLs are excellent examples of the German performance based testing and selective breeding requirements that have been in place for over 125 years.

The mission of vom Jägerherzen is to promote the excellent qualities of the Deutsch Langhaar to the hunting public with honesty and integrity. Vom Jägerherzen aims to achieve balance resulting in easily trainable DLs with cooperative temperments that get along well with people of all ages and other dogs, making them ideal hunting and home companions. Vom Jägerherzen DLs are truly versatile and capable of handling both large and small game, feather and fur on land and water. It is because of this commitment to both excellence and versatility that Deutsch Langhaars vom Jägerherzen are ideally suited for hunting in all types of climate in the diverse terrain of North America.

Vom Jägerherzen is a charter member of Deutsch Langhaar Gruppe Nordamerika and is currently home for two DLs: a started and a finished dog. Both of the dogs are family and share my home.
